Residents of Likumbi, in Rutshuru Territory, North Kivu Province, DRC, have cut down trees and beaten a Wazalendo rebel who is allied with the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) until he died.
This happened last Sunday when the Wazalendo rebel had shot his father after killing him. The residents of Lukumbi did not take it well and beat him until he died.
Information reaching LAVERITE.RW indicates that before the rebel shot his father, he was drunk and had a gun. The bodies of this Musosore and his father were buried on the evening of Sunday, June 8, 2025.
Insecurity continues to be evident in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the government of this country is watching.
