On Thursday night, May 22, 2025, Brazilian player Raphael Dias Belloli ‘Raphinha’ extended his contract with the club until 2028.
As FC Barcelona announced, he confirmed that he had extended Raphinha’s contract, which he helped win many trophies in Spain in the 2024/2025 season, such as the league title, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup. Last year, he played 56 games in which he scored 34 goals and provided 25 assists.
The 28-year-old Raphinha said that he would never leave the club as long as he remains in football, and that getting a new contract is one of his dreams.
He said: “This is a reward for all the good I have done for the club. It is very exciting for me and it is a goal that I have set for myself since the first day I arrived here. I have also told my family, all my dreams must be achieved here. I am confident and I am going to do more.”
Raphinha arrived at FC Barcelona in 2022 from Leeds United. This player has good statistics for his Brazilian national team where in 33 games he has played for it he has scored 11 goals.
Raphinha was called up to the national team on 8.10.2021 at the age of 24 years, nine months and 24 days.
Raphinha’s contract extension has delighted many FC Barcelona fans.
