Rwandan club APR FC has signed a powerful striker, drawing interest from top clubs including Simba SC.

APR FC has signed a Burkinabe striker who will help them reach the African Cup of Nations, where they have competed against other top teams on the African continent.

According to journalist Bruno Taifa, APR FC has signed a defender named Raouf Memel Dao, who was the best player of last season in the Burkina Faso league.

He has signed a 4-year contract to play for APR FC, APR FC has acquired him from Simba SC of Tanzania.

Who is Raouf Memel Dao?

Raouf Dao was born on June 5, 2003 and is 21 years old. He currently plays for Sonabel, a club he joined from RC Kadiogo. The player played for Black Stars in 2022 and can play as a right or left winger, meaning he plays as number 7 and 11.

APR FC Chairman Brig.Genaral Deo Rusanganwa recently announced that the club will buy no more than 3 foreigners, meaning that APR FC has one foreign player left to buy before it concludes the purchase of foreign players.
