Popular singer Shakira has canceled her scheduled concert in Washington, D.C., after the stage she was using was unable to accommodate the venue.
The 48-year-old Colombian singer was scheduled to perform at Live Nation’s World Pride on Saturday.
The event, which Shakira was scheduled to perform at, is one of the largest LGBTQ+ events in the world.
Some of the reasons given for Shakira’s cancellation include the fact that some of the materials needed to build the stage did not arrive in Washington, D.C. when the company planned the show, citing “problems with the stage construction.”
Shakira is known for her hit singles, including “Wherever.”
